I thought Brahma was going to come back after spending 1998 sponsoring
the World Cup. Its been couple years and they havent come back to
sponsor a new team. Did something happen that they changed their minds
about CART? There are a awful lot of Brazilians now in CART so it would
be a good opportunity I would think
On a side note today is the 4th anniversary of the fatal accident tht
took the lives of Jeff Krosnoff and Gary Arvin. Its odd I associate
Toronto with this and Laguna Seca and Fontana with negative stuff.

Horrible day. I remember the sinking feeling as I watched the replay
on one of the jumbotrons, and saw the looks on the crews faces.
Worse still was standing waiting to cross the bridge at Ontario Place
when the Andretti family (there were probably five or six of them)
came up beside me. I could tell from the looks on their faces that
the accident was fatal.
Nobody in the group I was with said a word for about half an hour.

That’s exactly it. Pat Patrick told me a couple of years ago that they felt
their money could be best spent elsewhere.
