At least three left in Indy form and if the one in Parnelli’s private museum runs, they are all runners. Think someone told me there is at least one "56B" (F1 version) in existance in England.
This is the one that was on the Speedvision practice/qualifying coverage for Milwaukee.

It was bizarre watching and listening to that car make laps at Indy. They brought it out a year ago iirc ….
It probably wouldn’t have been too much fun to see a full field of those cars touring the Speedway….. You’d be able to hear a pin drop

I will do the car with the side panels in place. Since we will run the Pinewood Derby in the winter there will be no need to remove the side panels to get the driver more cooling air. Hey but give yourself 10 points for having a good eye or memory. I remember reading about how Rob did that to help keep Stirling for getting overheated since it was plenty warm at Monaco that year.

My dad and I did that in 1969. Much easier than a Lotus 49 ;)

Ours was painted STP Red complete with decals for it. Not sure what we will
do next year. I was thinking of Stirling Moss’ Monaco winning Lotus 18.

Funny a buddy of mine told me that I should have built an Eagle or anything
but a Lotus since it was bound to break.

Last I heard, it was in the museum at Monza, still in the black and
gold colours of ‘Worldwide Racing’, but that info may be well out of
date.
