I hate to say it, but the championship has been over since MS won the 1st
race of the year in last years car.

    Wellll, yes. but….

Among the front runners in today’s French GP there was only ONE passing
move on track (when Kimi overdid it and Schuey slid through).
    Disappointing.

Like last year, and the years before that, the only passing possible
    is on that hairpin.

And don’t expect much of the new (or shall I say f**ked up?)
    Hockenheimring either.

True.  I think that all the other teams lost a lot of heart when that
happened.  It couldn’t have been very encouraging.  I guess they’ll like
it even better if they start testing the 2003 car while this season
    is still going on.

Now i just had to look and glory be,  it seems Nostradamus had
something about Schumacher and even RASF1.

They will be driven away without much fighting,
they will be very much harried in the country:
Town and city will have a greater debate:
Carcassonne and Narbonne will have their hearts tried.

    Exactly.

Very little racing in F1 and even then its ususally interrupted by an
intentional but instinctive move.  I quit watching after that.

Actually didn’t catch the cross posting.  Sorry for the intrusion into the
F1 group.  I do watch most every other form of racing.  Just not F1

If you enjoy racing, don’t visit Indy, for you’ll see scant little of
it. Worst seats I’ve ever seen, for any event. Disappointed they sold
    them.

I’ve been. 2000 USGP. You’re right about the seats – mine were crap.
But I upgraded via a "scalper" at a reasonable rate and got some
decent ones. Loved the atmosphere and chatting with the fans from all
over the world. Not particularly keen on the result though, but that
    was hardly Indy’s fault…

As an American, and a host, I’m greatly disappointed in what we offer
you. This country has astounding tracks, amidst great atmosphere and
culture, but the racing powers chose a venue which says very little in
the way of: "Thanks for visiting. Enjoy the race and your environs." At
IMS, and in Indianapolis, little is offered to a visiting race fan or
    tourist.

The U.S. could have done so much better.

Whilst I’m sure the US has many great race tracks, how many of them are
fully equipped to meet Bernie’s standards? Also, how many of them have
track managers firmly wedged into Bernie’s hip pocket (like TG).
Personally, I’d love the idea of an F1 car screaming around a track like
Elkhart Lake, or a similar circuit, if it was properly equipped.
