I’ve been. 2000 USGP. You’re right about the seats – mine were crap. But I upgraded via a "scalper" at a reasonable rate and got some decent ones. Loved the atmosphere and chatting with the fans from all over the world. Not particularly keen on the result though, but that was hardly Indy’s fault…

Whilst I’m sure the US has many great race tracks, how many of them are fully equipped to meet Bernie’s standards? Also, how many of them have track managers firmly wedged into Bernie’s hip pocket (like TG). Personally, I’d love the idea of an F1 car screaming around a track like Elkhart Lake, or a similar circuit, if it was properly equipped.
