Beginning in 2001 CART is to have the following qualifying regs. Top
6 finishers from previous race will have preferred qualifying
sessions. The next 6 finishers will be able to run qualifying
attempts 4 hours before or 4 hours after the preferred session but
only if conditions are unfavorable. The rest will be able to qualify
at midnight but will be allowed optional headlights not to exceed 1000
candle power. Also stipulated the track temperature must be more than
20 degrees higher or lower than the preferred qualifying. These
hapless reprobates will also be restricted to 3 laps maximum. If they
cannot qualify well under these conditions then they get what they
deserve.
Oh Paul Tracy? He gets to qualify on his scooter. ;-)

So Sean? If F1 starts 6 hours of testing on a Friday as well, it would
appear that racing will be fun yah?
I still think its obscene that CART expects to do an oval in England in
September. (It never rains in England during September, it just starts
in September and finishes up in July). Ovals don’t hold over. These
accountant’s should get they’re shit together. They still think that the
British Grand Prix is ok in May.) Stupid fucks.

Funny stuff. Sean is pissed about something.
They can’t do road courses, so what else can they do in England?
